News Item FACTS Northeast Training Center Installs New Cabin Service Trainer (OLYMPIA, WA - July 20, 2009). FACTS Training, a division of AirCare Solutions Group, announced the installation of its newest innovative training device at the FACTS Northeast Training Center in Morristown, New Jersey. An entirely operational Cabin Service Trainer complete with a fully operational galley, corporate configured seating, lavatory, baggage area, lighting and a sound systems are all designed to provide an authentic replication of a cabin-class corporate aircraft interior. Dr. Doug Mykol, CEO of AirCare Solutions Group and FACTS Training points out, "The FACTS curriculum has always included Galley Safety and Cabin Service Training to Initial students. With our new Cabin Service Trainer, students are offered an excellent opportunity to practice their newly acquired skills using galley and service equipment within the space limitations of an actual corporate aircraft." An open wall of the Cabin Service Trainer allows FACTS instructors and students close observation while they practice service styles and techniques learned in the classroom. By practicing within the confined space of a typical corporate aircraft, the Cabin Service Trainer builds confidence and knowledge in pre-flight preparation, the service and storage of food and beverage, berthing for overnight flights and developing the professional etiquette required when serving VIPs. Creating the Cabin Service Trainer continues the tradition FACTS has established over its 25 year history as corporate aviation's benchmark for leading edge training tools. "While FACTS Training has always focused on providing emergency procedures training for the industry, adding service training tools to help advance the profession has also been a high priority," says Dr. Mykol. "With the addition of innovations such as the Cabin Service Trainers, FACTS will continue to enhance its capabilities at the FACTS Training Centers in Morristown, NJ; Dallas, TX and Long Beach, CA.
