Training Courses FACTS® Scheduled Classes Over 100 Crewmember Emergency Procedures Training programs are scheduled throughout the U.S. and Canada, annually. Convenient hub cities include: Click on a city name for detailed class location.
Initial - For cabin-class aircraft pilots, flight engineers, and flight attendants. Three days (24 hrs) in class and simulator plus eight hours credit for completing the Before The FACTS® pre-class study workbook. Recurrent - Open to all current FACTS graduates and those that have completed other FACTS approved training programs in the past 12 months. Training is two days (16 hrs) in class and simulator. Inflight Service Training - This two-day program includes aviation indoctrination, food handling and information on cabin service and galley safety. Discussions include catering issues, storage, service, equipment familiarization, "helpful hints", and the opportunity to learn some "trade secrets" from experienced service trainers. This program is offered at scheduled FACTS classes, at no charge for current FACTS graduates. Aircrew Combative Training - FACTS has teamed with self defense training experts to develop this program for aircrew to deal with the unexpected in the aircraft, in the hotel, or on the street. The ACT system has been specifically designed to be the most effective method available to handle threates against the aircraft, pax and crew considering the limited space and resources of a corporate aircraft. Advanced Service Training - This course is for those FACTS graduates who have completed the Inflight Service Training. It includes a food handling review, and a specialized inflight service topic. This program is offered at scheduled FACTS classes, at no charge for current FACTS graduates. ON-SITE Training FACTS programs, including the FACTS AirCrew Emergency Procedures Simulator(s), can be brought to your facility for a complete training program tailored to your flight department's needs. Intensive one, two and three-day programs are available. ASSET™ - The one-day ASSET (Aircraft Specific Survey & Emergency Training) program is designed to provide hands-on training of up to three FACTS subjects and familiarization with the client's aircraft and onboard equipment. This can include the FAA required Gulfstream G500/550 specific, evacuation crewmember training. Does not meet FAR 135, 125, CAR 604 training requirements unless utilized in conjunction with full FACTS training programs. FACTS On-Site (2-day) - For light, medium, and cabin-class crewmembers. This intensive FACTS training program, including one of the FACTS AirCrew Emergency Procedures Simulators, is brought to your facility. Two days (16 hrs) in class and simulator plus eight hours credit for completing the Before The FACTS® pre-class study workbook. FACTS® Gulfstream Evacuation Crewmember Training - This program is designed to meet the requirements for including a trained person aboard Gulfstream G500/550 aircraft, with ten or more passengers. Successful completion will qualify the participant to act as the Evacuation Crewmember aboard the G500/550, per the aircraft operations and certification requirements. On-Site Hypoxia Awareness Training - The FACTS® Hypoxia Awareness Training is a fast-paced program, conducted at the client's facility; specifically designed to provide a safe means for crewmembers to personally experience the signs, symptoms, and effects of high altitude hypoxia, using the FACTS ROBD™. This exercise provides the crewmember with a heightened awareness of their own signs and symptoms of hypoxia without the potential risks of a decompression chamber. Executive Frequent Flyer Training - The one-day (two session) program builds knowledge, confidence and emergency response-ABILITY for each commercial or corporate frequent flyer. Each participant practices using oxygen masks, fire extinguishers, life preservers, exits, etc. Emergency scenarios and equipment use are practiced on board the company aircraft and in the FACTS Emergency Procedures Simulator(s). On-Site Galley Safety and Cabin Service Training - The curriculum, specifically designed for the corporate flight attendant, to include your flight department's policies/procedures and the special needs of your executive frequent flyers. FACTS offers two program options - The 1-day course for "refreshing" and standardizing your current service program; and, a much more extensive 2-day program to fully train your staff for the many pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties involved in providing world-class service for your passengers. FACTS SOS™ Training - A 2 day Ditching & Open Water Survival Training program for professional crewmembers on any aircraft. Intensive emergency procedures and survival training in the classroom, pool, and the open water, including day and night open water training and survival. InFlight Emergency Medical and Defibrillator Training - One-day training is available through the sister company, AirCare International.
