On-Site Training Emergency Procedures Training brought to your Facility FACTS is a unique, human factors based, program designed to provide pilots, flight engineers, and flight attendants training in emergency, evacuation and safety procedures. The curriculum includes crew coordination, passenger handling, safety and survival equipment, inflight medical emergencies/ defibrillation, inflight fire and smoke procedures, high altitude physiology/decompression, hazardous materials awareness, unusual situations, safety and security, and emergency evacuations (land and water). All procedures are practiced in the FACTS full-size, full motion, cockpit and cabin emergency procedures simulators, the pool, and using the FACTS Underwater Egress Dunker. Training meets all applicable regulations for emergency procedures training as required under CFR Parts 91, 125, 135, JAR OPS1, CARS, IS-BAO standards and G550 Evacuation Crewmember requirements (as applicable). Course Description Customized On-Site Training (2 Days) For light, midsize and cabin class aircraft crewmembers. The FACTS AirCrew Emergency Procedures Simulator(s), trainers, and additional training equipment are brought to the clientÕs facility providing a realism in training not available anywhere else. Two intensive days (16 hrs) in class, simulator, and aircraft (if available), plus eight (8) hours credit for Before the FACTS® pre-class study and workbook. A cost effective and time efficient program providing crew training for the entire flight department and promoting crew communication. Certificates of training are issued for one year. DAY 1 Aviation Regulations Update Human Factors Crew Response-Ability Management/Fatigue Accident Review and Emergency Types Emergency Equipment Update and Review Hypoxia Awareness / Decompression First-aid, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, AED Training G550 Evacuation Crewmember Training (as applicable) DAY 2 InFlight Fire & Smoke Procedures Unusual Situations, Bombs, and Hijacking Corporate, Personal & Travel Security Hazardous Materials Awareness Surface Contamination Awareness Land Evacuation Procedures Water/Ditching Procedures Inverted Underwater Dunker FACTS Certification Exam |
