Is FACTS Training FAA approved?
While there is NO FAA approval required or available for vendors/providers of General Emergency Procedures Training, there are hundreds of FAR Parts 91, 91k, 125 and 135 operators that have submitted the FACTS curriculum and received FAA approval to utilize our training as their own. FACTS has a specially designed FAA Part 125 and 135 approval packets available for an operator's submission and approval. That said, the FAA has attended numerous FACTS Training classes. In each and every case, they have given the FACTS program rave reviews.

Can FACTS Trainers come to our facilities?
FACTS has the capability to provide exclusive Onsite Training through use of its fleet of mobile emergency training simulators.

Is it possible to customize a training agenda for us?
FACTS Training offers a one day ASSET™ training program which makes it possible for customers to select three to four instructional modules to be offered in an eight hour training day.

Is FACTS Training a Part 142 facility?
Great question and the short answer is no, as there are no requirements or approval process to be an FAR Part 142 facility for emergency training. FAR Part 142 deals with in part, initial qualification/certification/currency training for flight crews and in no way applies to the general emergency training that we conduct here at FACTS. In "FACT", none of the current FARS require a vendor's certification or approval, of any kind, for general emergency training... Only that you receive it! Furthermore, the FACTS program itself is approved for hundreds of operators, as the operator's approved training program.

Does FACTS Emergency Training meet the IS-BAO requirements for emergency training?
Long before IS-BAO (International Standards for Business Aircraft Operators) stated requirements for best practices, the FACTS curriculum more than met IS-BAO needs. The new IS-BAO ASSET™ training program is specifically designed to meet IS-BAO specific emergency training requirements and sets a standard that should remain IS-BAO compliant for many years to come.

Is FACTS an "authorized" provider for the required G550 Evacuation Crew Member Training?
For clarification purposes one need not be "authorized" by the FAA or the aircraft manufacturer to provide for this type of training, only that you train to specific standards, as outlined in FAA ELOS Memo AT5177AT-T-A-2 and the aircraft's G.O.M. FACTS G550 Evacuation Crewmember Training program meets and exceeds those requirements. Attending the FACTS Evacuation Crewmember Training Program and completing our specially designed ASSET™ Checklist for your specific aircraft/configuration, you will have met all FAA requirements to function as an Evacuation Crewmember on the G500/550 airframe. FACTS Emergency Training Programs include this important training in all scheduled classes.

What pricing considerations are available?
For organizations sending multiple students to FACTS Training in a calendar year, volume discounts are offered.

Does FACTS accept certifications from other emergency training providers?
FACTS will accept emergency procedures and safety training certificates only from Flight Safety International, based on training that has taken place in the last 12 months, with a minimum of 16 hours of training and showing a successful Certificate of Completion. No other vendor's "certificates" are accepted.

Do I have to take all the days together?
The three required days of Emergency Training must be taken together; however, the "optional" training days may be attended at future classes on a space available basis.

What happens if I have paid for class and have to re-schedule?
If for some reason your schedule does not allow you to attend the class you originally registered for we ask that you let us know ASAP. When you re-schedule into another class all of your tuition payment credit is applied to the new dates you choose.

What time does class end?
Each day will usually end by 1800. There could be some days that are earlier then that, but especially when looking to make travel arrangements after your final day of class, we ask that you base your arrangements on the end time of 1800 to be safe.

Do you have to know how to swim to pass the training?
Although you do not have to be an active and strong swimmer, you will be required to do the water ditching portion of class and will be in the pool to do so.

Am I required to stay at the hotel FACTS recommends?
You are not required to stay at the recommended hotel. If you are choosing to commute back and forth to class, have friends or family to stay with, prefer another hotel in the area, etc., you are welcome to make the best lodging arrangements for you. The only requirement is that you arrive at class no later than 0745 daily.
