Initial Training and Inflight Safety Training for Corporate Crewmembers FACTS® is a unique, human factors based, program designed to train pilots, flight engineers, and flight attendants in emergency evacuation and safety procedures. The curriculum includes crew coordination, passenger handling, safety and survival equipment, inflight medical emergencies/defibrillation, inflight fire and smoke procedures, high altitude physiology/decompression, hazardous materials awareness, unusual situations, safety and security, and emergency evacuations (land and water). All procedures are practiced in the FACTS full-size, full motion, cockpit and cabin emergency procedures simulators, the pool, and using the FACTS Underwater Egress Dunker. Training meets all applicable regulations for emergency procedures training as required under CFR Parts 91, 125, 135, JAR OPS1, CARS and IS-BAO standards. Certificates of training are issued for one year. Course Description (5 Days) - 3 Required Days For crewmembers with no previous FACTS training. Three required days (24 hrs) EmergencyProcedures Training in class and simulators, plus eight (8) hours credit for completion of the Before the FACTS pre-class study and workbook. As an added option, two days (16 hrs) of corporate aviation indoctrination and Cabin Service Training is included at no charge.
