Initial Training and Inflight Safety Training for Corporate Crewmembers FACTS® is a unique, human factors based, program designed to train pilots, flight engineers, and flight attendants in emergency evacuation and safety procedures. The curriculum includes crew coordination, passenger handling, safety and survival equipment, inflight medical emergencies/defibrillation, inflight fire and smoke procedures, high altitude physiology/decompression, hazardous materials awareness, unusual situations, safety and security, and emergency evacuations (land and water). All procedures are practiced in the FACTS full-size, full motion, cockpit and cabin emergency procedures simulators, the pool, and using the FACTS Underwater Egress Dunker. Training meets all applicable regulations for emergency procedures training as required under CFR Parts 91, 125, 135, JAR OPS1, CARS and IS-BAO standards. Certificates of training are issued for one year. Course Description (5 Days) - 3 Required Days For crewmembers with no previous FACTS training. Three required days (24 hrs) EmergencyProcedures Training in class and simulators, plus eight (8) hours credit for completion of the Before the FACTS pre-class study and workbook. As an added option, two days (16 hrs) of corporate aviation indoctrination and Cabin Service Training is included at no charge. DAY 1 and 2 (optional) Initial inflight Service and Indoctrination to Corporate Aviation: Corporate Aviation Indoctrination Food Handling Safety Trip Planning / Catering Stowage • Service SOPs Tricks of the Trade • Troubleshooting Wine Service • VIP DAY 3 (Required) - Emergency Procedures Human Factors, Judgment and Decision making Emergency Equipment / ASSET™ Crew and Passenger Safety Briefings Evacuation Procedures - LAND (Simulator drills) G550 Evacuation Crewmember Training (as applicable) DAY 4 (Required) Emergency Procedures Review and Regulatory Update Crew Response-Ability Management/Fatigue Accident Review Hypoxia Awareness Training / Decompression InFlight Fire & Smoke Procedures (Live Fire fighting & Simulator Smoke drills) Evacuation Procedures - Water (Wet ditching, Dunker & Simulator drills) DAY 5 (Required) Emergency Procedures InFlight Medical/ BBP/CPR/AED Procedures (Simulator drills) Unusual Situations and Corporate / Personal Security Hazardous Materials and Dangerous Goods Surface Contamination Awareness Evacuation Procedures - Land (Simulator drills) FACTS - Certification Exam |
