News Worthy Live Fire Training Enhanced at FACTS® Training (OLYMPIA, WA - September 9, 2005) Preparedness is the cornerstone of FACTS Training's emergency response training programs. ÊIn an effort to create the most realistic fire simulation experience, FACTS has acquired the world's leading fire extinguisher training device for students to engage in live training exercises. Ê FACTS instructors use the Portable Extinguisher Trainer to safely control training exercises and insure proper operation procedures are followed. The user-friendly portable extinguisher training device is designed and manufactured to provide a reality-based, propane fueled live fire training prop. With automatic ignition, "low" and "high" settings, and a "dead man" switch, students are able to operate a fire extinguisher in a real live fire environment without the safety hazards of an uncontrolled fire.
