News Item FACTS Training contributes to Safety Day for the Chicago Area Business Aviation Association (OLYMPIA, WA - June 27, 2007) FACTS Training provided an educational, engaging and entertaining day of safety training for the membership of the Chicago Area Business Aviation Association (CABAA) on Friday, June 22nd. Focused on emergency procedures training and aviation safety, the seminar was hosted by DB Aviation at the Waukegan Regional Airport, IL. The Second Annual CABAA Safety Day event drew a wide cross section of participants from throughout the Chicago aviation business community. In attendance were: pilots, flight attendants, flight mechanics, corporate aviation executives, aircraft manufacturers and aviation insurance underwriters. Three subjects were covered in the morning classroom session: Human Factors, Crew Resource Management and High Altitude Decompression - Hypoxia Awareness. Highlighting the afternoon session were emergency evacuation drills aboard the FACTS Emergency Simulator. Attendees were given the opportunity to personally experience hard turbulence, in-flight smoke and physically evacuate through the custom designed exit windows of this corporate aircraft training device. Carl Robst, DB Aviation Chief Pilot and CABAA Board Member said about the Second Annual Safety Day, "Everyone was delighted with the educational content and professional presentation provided by FACTS Training. The majority of corporate flight departments recognize the importance of aviation safety training. It is critical for their safety programs to prepare those operating corporate aircraft and those flying as passengers with the knowledge and skills to respond to in-flight emergencies. This Safety Day was successful in providing a brief introduction of those concepts to the local Chicago area business jet operators and its constituents."
